After a long but enjoyable 1000 mile train journey south we arrived in Guangzhou.
After dropping our bags in the hotel we headed out for a well earned beer at “party pier”, full of young dudes like us! lol
Expensive by Chinese standards at £4 a pint for Carlsberg export but a buzzing place of music, food and drinks.
We could see the Canton Tower all illuminated and looking very tall as we tucked into a late dinner and looked forward to going to the top tomorrow, At 450m.
But it was soon time to end the evening and a £1.70 taxi soon dropped us back at our hotel.
